Mapelastic WaterStop Liquid Membrane
Mapelastic WaterStop is a flexible, thin, fast-drying, one-component, liquid-rubber waterproofing and crack-isolation membrane for installation under ceramic tile or stone in residential, commercial and industrial environments. No odor; great for confined spaces.
Features
- Provides a continuous barrier to protect adjacent floors and rooms below from water damage
- Prevents in-plane floor cracks from transmitting through tile or stone
- Compatible with MAPEI’s Fiberglass Mesh and Mapeband™ accessories
- Compatible with MAPEI mortars and grouts for complete system protection
- Use for cove roll and drain flashing
- Ready to use; easy to apply with roller, trowel or brush, water clean up
- Provides up to 1/8" (3 mm) of in-plane crack isolation, and dries after about 60 to 90 minutes
- Flood-test as a shower-pan liner after 12 hours of drying time
- Waterproof water-stop is IAPMO listed for use as a shower-pan liner
- Prevents in-plane floor cracks from transmitting through tile or stone
